Quit the job that’s sucking the life out of you
Leave the toxic relationship
Stop gossiping
Quit comparing yourself to others
Stop judging yourself and others
Quit the addictions

Your life gets to be exactly what you dream of! It’s too short and we only have so much life force energy to spend here.

“Ghosting is gutless”

I believed this narrative for a long time… but recently I’ve had some people disrespect me by ignoring my boundaries …… and honestly, cutting those people off has been THE BEST thing I’ve done for my nervous system.

People that disrespect your boundaries do not deserve access to your time or energy.

So block and ghost and cut these people out of your life, you deserve better :) Wbu? How do you feel about ghosting?

my body has been slowly shutting down

resisting
asking
begging

“please don’t make me move more heavy weight”

please don’t push me
please tuck me in

please make me warm food & hot tea

please run me a bubble bath
please choose me
please hear me
please l i s t e n

please reward me
for all the hard work i’ve been putting in

please take me for a leisurely walk
please rock me to sleep
pease keep me safe

protect me from the things that keep me
e x h a u s t e d

wrap me up in cozy clothes
cloak me in fuzzy blankets

let the sound of soothing music wash over my bones like healing waters

let the sunset drench my soul
let the stars sparkle in my eyes

nourish my skin with silky lotion
let the glow of the salt lamp melt my fears

let my pen find a fresh piece of paper
let my brain find relief

& when i’m ready-
i will rise to meet you again
refreshed & willing to face the uphill challenge
of life

but for now
let me rest

The best thing I’ve ever done for my relationship with God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit is … I quit going to church.

I know, that might sound counterintuitive or like I just dropped a bomb; but taking time to slow down and be in my body and be still, quiet and listen to God and Spirit in my body has been life-changing for me.

I wouldn’t trade the personal connection that I have with Jesus, the Holy Spirit, & God over listening to a preacher tell me his interpretation of the Bible and his convictions every Sunday.

I’m sharing this because it might be helpful for you too. Getting centered and really listening is a gift. The fact that we have direct access to God & Jesus through the Holy Spirit is so valuable.

I feel the more we cultivate this connection, the more love, kindness and generosity we will see in the Christian community.

I’m here for being more like Jesus and I think he would not be stoked in how the Christian church is running these days.

If you grew up in church, you probably heard the preacher say, invite Jesus into your heart.

Now fast forward to present day, we’re older, and the pastor is telling us that we should not trust our hearts, because our hearts will lead us into sin.

But last time I checked, Jesus lives in my heart & body and I can trust that connection over anything else.

Trust Jesus and God in your heart and body over any outside information, yes, even from your pastor. ✌️✌️✌️

1. Change into lose, soft, cozy clothes

2. Light a candle (vibes matter)

3. Make myself some hot tea

These signal to my body and nervous system that they are cared for and safe.

If you grew up hearing that if you dress a certain way or act a certain way, men are going to stumble right into sin, I’m here to set you free from that thought pattern.

It is not your responsibility how a man reacts to what you’re wearing.

It is not your responsibility to keep his thoughts and intentions pure.

So today is the day that you get to take your power back and dress in a way that makes you feel great about yourself. It doesn’t matter what you wear, as long as you feel good wearing it.

And let’s start ditching the purity culture, BS and step into our feminine power and stop considering men and everything that we do.

This one’s for the mom’s

Here are three things that I did postpartum to love my body even more now than I did before I had my baby.

1. I did not rush my healing. I took my time, took slow walks every day, looked at my body in the mirror every day, and told her how much I loved it and thanked it and had love and unconditional grace for it every step along the way. I rubbed my body with lotion every day.

2. I gave away all of my pre-baby clothes because I didn’t want to feel like I had to somehow fit into my old clothes so I took that pressure off myself by giving everything away.

3. I began getting to know my new body and loving the person that I was becoming, without any pressure to be someone that I was in the past. When you have a baby and every time you have a baby, it changes literally everything about you, my body and spirit.

I hope these three tips help you and I would love to hear the things that you are doing to love yourself and your body more postpartum

Spoiler, you are considered postpartum for life after you have a baby. It’s not just six weeks!
