📢 SNAP Into Action Food Drive! 📢

The Free Clinics is proud to partner with Hands On! to support families affected by the recent SNAP funding shortage. In Henderson County, more than 8,000 of our neighbors rely on SNAP—and when those benefits run out, it’s our children and families who feel it most.

Starting October 31 🎃, Hands On! will be collecting shelf-stable children’s food to help fill the gap.
🕘 Donations accepted: 9AM – 5PM
📍 Location: 318 North Main Street, Downtown Hendersonville

🎁 Special Offer:
On Saturday, November 1, bring 6 or more shelf-stable food items and receive 25% off admission to Hands On!

Together, we can make sure no child in our community goes hungry. Stay tuned for updates on food distribution and how The Free Clinics will help get these donations to families in need. 💚

As temperatures drop, many of our neighbors are struggling to stay warm and cared for. You can help bring comfort and hope this season. 💙

🧥 What to bring:
• Gently used coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and blankets
• Hygiene items: soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, feminine products
• Nonperishable foods: canned goods, snacks, bottled water, and items that may not need warming

Every item and every act of kindness helps someone feel seen, supported, and safe this winter. Together, we can build hope and healing in our community. 💚

It was so cool meeting Rob Holla! He is an amazing speaker and educator on vaping and bullying, and his energy is really amazing!

The Free Clinics loved being part of such an awesome event! This is everything we stand for — promoting health, prevention, and community connection.
