✨ Holiday Clinic Hours Update ✨

The Free Clinics is OPEN TODAY until 5 PM, continuing our mission to care for our neighbors when they need it most.

Tomorrow, 12/23, we will be open for clinic hours from 11 AM – 2 PM. We will close at 4:00PM.

Our groups will resume as scheduled tomorrow on 12/23.

We will be CLOSED Wednesday 12/24, Thursday 12/25, and Friday 12/26.

As we move through this holiday season, our doors—and our hearts—remain open. If you or someone you love needs care, support, or connection, please know you are always welcome here.

💙 A Small Thank-You for a Big Heart 💙

Today, we had the joy of surprising our incredible Executive Director, Pauline, with a self-care appreciation basket. Pauline is always making sure we have everything we need — whether it’s support, encouragement, or just a reminder that we’re valued.

So a group of us decided it was our turn to give back and show her just how much she means to all of us. We came together to shop for a Christmas appreciation basket filled with a little rest, relaxation, and a whole lot of gratitude.

Thank you, Pauline, for your leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to our team and the community we serve. We are so grateful for you today and every day. 💕🎄

🎄🍪 The holiday spirit is truly alive at The Free Clinics! 🍪🎄

A huge thank-you to our wonderful pharmacist, Sandy, for surprising us with delicious homemade cookies — such a thoughtful and heartfelt treat!

Our amazing Outreach Coordinator — and Peer Support superstar — Jessica brought the Christmas spirit straight into the clinic, making the day feel extra festive, joyful, and full of cheer! 🎄✨

A special shoutout to our nurse, Janice, who brought thoughtful gifts for everyone, spreading even more love and holiday cheer throughout the clinic. 🎁❤️

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible Executive Director, Pauline, who goes above and beyond for her staff every single day. In the days leading up to Christmas, she has been treating our team to something special each day to make sure we feel appreciated, supported, and cared for — just as we strive to do for our neighbors!

We are so grateful to work in a place where kindness, appreciation, and heart are at the center of everything we do. ❤️✨

🎄✨ A little holiday magic happened at The Free Clinics! ✨🎄

Our very own Kerry Griffin, our little elf, baked us the most amazing homemade gingerbread cookies and truly made our day sweeter. 🍪❤️

And as if that wasn’t enough holiday cheer, we also dropped off some snowballs from Frosty as part of our staff Frosty Wellness—because taking care of our caregivers matters too. ☃️❄️

We are so grateful for thoughtful hearts, festive spirits, and the small moments that bring joy during this busy season. Thank you, Kerry, for spreading warmth and kindness throughout our clinic! 💙

As we approach Giving Tuesday, we pause to reflect on the impact of our community—especially on Tuesdays, our signature Walk-In Clinic day, where we come together to care for our neighbors.

This year, your support means more than ever. In 2024, we provided medical care to 2,759 neighbors in need through our Hendersonville location alone. We are deeply grateful to be out in the community, meeting people where they are, and encouraging anyone who needs us to visit The Free Clinics for compassionate, accessible care.

The Free Clinics was honored to attend Hendersonville’s very first Adult Recovery Court Graduation, celebrating Jennifer — a truly inspiring woman who has worked so hard to turn her life around. 💪💚

Her courage, determination, and resilience remind us that recovery is possible and every step forward matters. Watching her walk across that stage was a powerful moment of hope for our entire community.
