As a Nurse Practitioner and Neurosurgical ICU nurse, I know firsthand how critical early recognition and intervention can be. Because of this, we prioritize training our caregivers to sharpen their assessment skills—recognizing even the most subtle changes in a patient’s condition, understanding when escalation is necessary, and supporting safe, effective recovery at home.

We’re not just providing care—we are an extension of the healthcare team 🤝

What a great morning at the Care Continuum event at Sunrise at the Silas Burke House!

We enjoyed a great presentation from Kate with VHC Health, highlighting helpful resources like technology solutions, lifeline medical alert systems, wellness programs, and caregiver support services available to the community.

It was also great connecting with so many wonderful people, touring the beautiful historic home, and enjoying a fantastic turnout on a perfect spring day.

Always nice getting out, staying connected, and being back in an area I grew up in!
