💡🚨 CPR in the dark! 🚨💡

Well… this was a first. Tonight our CPR training got an unexpected twist when the power went out, but that didn’t stop us from practicing lifesaving skills. Manikins lit up, teamwork kicked in, and everyone powered through like champs.

Because real emergencies don’t wait for perfect conditions, and now we can say we’re officially trained to save lives even during a blackout! 🫀🙌

Had the best time with Hibbing Girl Scouts Troop 1709 as they worked toward earning their First Aid Badge! ⛑️

I had the opportunity to step away from my usual CPR classes and spend some time teaching these amazing girls the basics of first aid. We talked about how to call 911, went over what to do in an emergency, and they had a blast putting Band-Aids on my CPR mannequins! 🩹

It was such a fun and refreshing change of pace and a reminder of how important (and fun!) community education can be. ✨⛑️
