LOVE THIS !!! and I have seen and practiced it myself and with students in my classes a bit quicker....to allow clearing combined with activation. I like this slower version too. I also like how mentions the calm within us already. We use Qi Gong to purge the messy unusalbe energy in order to unbury the peace and calm.

A movement practiced in Qi Gong & Tai Chi --sometimes called Cloudy Hands, or Cloud Hands, or Moving Clouds. It is one of my favorites. And I think most of my students enjoy it too. The movement itself helps to cultivate good heart energy for the heart organ and the heart center/space. Using specific intention during the movement allows you as an individual to target aspects like bringing in love, or joy, or patience, for instance. You can also pull out hate, hastiness, anxiety, or anger. You can simply inhale as your arms and hands float one way and exhale as they float the other way. You can also specifically inhale while moving to the left and exhale moving to the right. Make this iconic movement your own and let Qi Gong meet you where you are at any given moment. Use the "Haaah" sound whispered, as you exhale to add another layer of release and calm.

Hilarious😄, however, it is a great depiction of what we can release with nice full exhales. Some may think that inhales are more important but those exhales are too. There is a breathing techniques where you inhale for 4 counts, hold for 7 counts and exhale for 8 counts (through he mouth). There is another where you simply inhale 4 and exhale 8 without the hold in between. Both emphasize the exhale. If you'd rather, you can inhale 3, exhale 6. Deflate a bit my friend!

I just finished this book. If you are interested in Taoist Philosophy and the Tao Te Ching and, like me, struggle a bit with fully understanding the verses, this is the book for you. I love how Dr. Wayne Dyer sets it all up with his format of presenting the verse (translated to English), gives it a title that makes sense to him, (and to me), provides an analysis essay, inserts great quotes from others that apply and help with the understanding, and finally a Do the Tao Now section to help us apply it to our modern lives with a practical little assignment suggestion.
