This photo really captured my attention. Yes, it could be photoshopped but something about it screams legitmate to me.

Here's the text that came with it:

"So this was taken about 13 years ago on a creek bank down in Covington County Alabama. Someone asked who was our extra friend 🤷🏻‍♀️ Tell me what you see when you see it please. And yes 13 years ago it probably was taken on a Nokia phone lol"

I'm not sure who the op was.

What do you think? I'd really like to know.

What do you think? Haunted or not?

The Wolf Man (1941)
70 minutes. Rated R
Directed By: George Waggner

Starring: Lon Chaney Jr., Bela Lugosi, Claude Rains, Evelyn Ankers, Maria Ouspenskaya, Ralph Bellamy, Patric Knowles, Warren William, Fay Helm, Forrester Harvey

"Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright".

The Wolf Man is easily Universal's best monster movie. Lon Chaney Jr does a wonderful job portraying the tortured Larry Talbot. The film is beautifully shot, and it oozes with atmosphere, a trait Universal was known for back in the day. The special effects were created by make up legend Jack Pierce and for the time, was very convincing. The score is haunting and very atmospheric. A true classic and one of Universal's best.

Rating: 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 out of 5 werewolves

Movie Tidbits:

* The Wolf Man was not the first werewolf filmed Universal made. It was preceded 6 years earlier with 1935's Werewolf of London.

* It took almost 10 hours to create the transformation scenes.

* In Curt Siodmak's original script for the film, whether or not Lawrence Talbot really underwent a physical transformation to a werewolf or if the transformation simply occurred in his mind was left ambiguous. The Wolf Man was never to appear onscreen. Ultimately, the studio determined that Talbot's transformation into a werewolf would be more appealing to the audience and more profitable.

* The "wolf" that Larry Talbot fights with was actually Lon Chaney Jr's own German Shepherd.

* The Wolf Man battled a bear in one scene, but unfortunately, the bear ran away during filming. The scene was cut from the movie. What few scenes were filmed were put into the theatrical trailer.

Sleepaway Camp (1983)
84 mins. Rated R
Directed By: Robert Hiltzik

Starring: Felissa Rose, Jonathan Tiersten, Christopher Collet, Mike Kellin, Karen Fields, Katherine Kamhi, Paul DeAngelo, Thomas E. Van Dell, Loris Sallahian, John E. Dunn, W***y Cuskin, Desiree Gould, Owen Hughes, Robert Earl Jones, Susan Glaze, Amy Baio

It goes without saying that Sleepaway Camp is one of the most notorious slasher films of the 80's. It is a cult classic and is revered by many slasher fans. I admit that Sleepaway Camp has a lot to offer with nasty murders, quirky characters, one of the best camp set atmospheres in the sub-genre, and of course that WTF ending. Unfortunately, when the cook makes the "baldies" comment, it completely takes me out of the film and the perks aren't enough to save it for me. The cheesy, over-acting doesn't help either. While Sleepaway Camp does have it's strong points, for me, it ultimately falls short due to it's unnecessary usage of pe******ia, which leaves me feeling dirty every time I try to watch it. -Tommy ☠️
