Initials. Full names. Neon vibes. Classic elegance. 💫

Here’s a peek at some of my logo samples for bar & bat mitzvahs — from bold, sporty monograms to soft, feminine scripts to high-energy neon statements. Every design is fully customized to reflect personality, theme, colors, and the overall vibe of the event.

Whether you’re envisioning something timeless and sophisticated or fun and trend-forward, your logo sets the tone for everything — invitations, swag, signage, dance floor, montage… all of it.

Testimonial Tuesday!

Hearing from my clients never gets old. 🤍

Every testimonial represents a family who trusted me with something meaningful — a celebration, a milestone, a memory. Their kind words remind me why I care so deeply about making each design personal, thoughtful, and truly special.

For me, it’s never just about creating a logo or montage. It’s about making sure every client feels heard, supported, and excited about the final result. Your happiness is always the goal.

If you love seeing behind-the-scenes stories and happy client moments, tap ❤️, save this for inspiration, or share it with someone planning something special.

And tell me in the comments — what’s one word that describes your dream celebration or project? ✨

Happy New Year! I have been so busy with logos and montages (over 20 between Oct-Dec alone!) that I have been pretty terrible about social media, but my New Year's resolution is to change that. My first item of business was to begin rebranding my own company, which was founded several years ago. Since I am working on several projects, the rollout will be slow, but I am proud to share my new logos and would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for all of your support, and I am excited to share in your celebrations in 2026! 🎉❤️

I had so much fun designing the logos for Lily and Jonah’s B’nai Mitzvah this past weekend! They were used on swag, place cards, and on screens throughout the venue (a very cool place in Manhattan Beach, CA which I was lucky enough to attend with the added bonus of seeing my daughter who goes to school out there)! I also created their montage which can be seen here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/mvl0l20o5qidmjj6vu079/Lily-Jonah-Mitzvah-Montage.mp4?rlkey=ayqn2tdbsdz86lw54dm9mcehf&st=xndpp6m6&dl=0

Also this past weekend was Mia’s Bat Mitzvah. I loved making a bunch of logos for her that were used throughout the evening to tie in with her neon theme. Such an amazing atmosphere created by Tessi Neuhauser Davis Events by Tess!! 😍

Mazel Tov to all!!! ❤️

Hi! I apologize for the lack of posting and sharing over the past year. I started the year with a significant back surgery, then spent the last 6 months caring for my mom, who was diagnosed with a rare cancer in April and passed away last month. :( During this time, I was still hard at work creating many montages and logos (which helped keep me sane), and I look forward to doing many more in 2025.

I am posting today for 2 reasons. First, as of 1/1/25, my prices will increase for the first time in several years. If you happen to know your event date and would like to lock in my services (I already have a few for 2025), I will honor current prices if you contact me by the end of the year (no deposit needed). You can see all the information and fill out an inquiry form here: https://marcyturnerdesign.com/

Next, during the past 6 months, something occurred that caused all of my email subscribers to disappear. I traveled back and forth to Florida (5x in those 6 months), and was also physically and emotionally exhausted, so it is totally possible I missed something I was supposed to do. That said, it is essential for me to contact you to send new deals, promos I have with other vendors and other great info. So, if you could please fill this out (and you get a great freebie too!) I would really appreciate it. Please share with any friends with upcoming events; that would be amazing, too. https://fabulousclassroom.myflodesk.com/ljj4c30i2y

Thanks so much everyone, and have a wonderful winter break/holiday season!

~Marcy

Hi! As many know, I was born and raised in Highland Park and graduated from HPHS in 1991. I am fortunate enough to have maintained many friendships since my time there.

One of my close friends from that time, Dana Kay Decker, who also resides in HP with her family, will be doing the great mitzvah of traveling to Israel next month to volunteer with her friend, Daniel Newman. They have already been collecting a huge amount of supplies and resources they will bring to Israel. On March 16 (THIS SATURDAY!), they are hosting an event to raise funds for Israel (see attached for more information).

In addition to hoping you will attend the event (it will be super fun!), we are reaching out to ask for donations for the baskets used in the Silent Auction. Depending on the nature and size of the item, it will either be auctioned off individually or as part of a themed basket. It would be sincerely appreciated if you could donate an item, however small. Gift cards or actual items are both great. We will ensure that your business receives recognition via a printed sign at the event and will be more than happy to display your business cards for people to
collect. We are anticipating a very large crowd!

If you are interested, please comment or message Dana or me as soon as possible so we can arrange to pick up your prize and business cards. The event is in just 2 days, so we need it before that time.

Here are just some of the amazing stores/vendors who have donated items so far (thank you!!):

Thoughts from my bed: i.e., I have too much time on my hands:

1. Not taking your meds doesn’t make you a martyr, it makes you an idiot.

2) When you can’t work, sit up for more than a few minutes at a time, or even go downstairs, time goes by verrrrrry slowly. It’s been less than a week and I have at least 6-12 more (hopefully) . 🤪

3) I really shouldn’t have taken the little things for granted when my back was good. Who knew that putting on clothes, tying shoes, washing your face, and, ahem, some personal matters, would be damn near impossible when you are forbidden from “BLT” (bending, lifting, or twisting).

4) When you have a really big incision that is healing on your back, and there’s no BLT allowed, and you’re pretty much stuck lying on your back if you want to watch t.v., it’s not very pleasant.

5) Not being able to go downstairs to access the kitchen when there’s no one else home sucks. There’s only so many times cheese and crackers in a cooler are going to cut it for lunch, and while I love snacks, sometimes you just want to be able to make yourself a meal!

6) While I already knew this due to my other back surgeries, it always surprises me how much I hate relying on other people. 😢 I am not good at asking for help or allowing people to do things that in my mind I should be able to do on my own. That said, I’m also reminded that family and friends are so important, and I’m so lucky to the most amazing, best ones ever. THANK YOU! ❤️❤️
