I recently spoke with a founder who was frustrated by the high turnover at his company. His diagnosis? "We just aren't hiring people built for our culture."
I asked him one simple question: "Are the people not built for the culture, or is the culture broken?"
If talent is exiting as quickly as they are being onboarded, you don't have a recruitment problem—you have a systemic failure. When a comprehensive audit was conducted, the results showed that the leadership team had stopped leading, and the organization was paying the price.
