Totally fair. You should question things when it comes to your kids. 🤷‍♀️

But most people picture cracking, twisting, and adult-style adjustments… and that’s not what pediatric chiropractic looks like at all.

For babies and kids, adjustments are incredibly gentle..often about the pressure you’d use to test the ripeness of a tomato.

Education changes everything. 💛

Many parents assume their baby’s head preference is “just a cute quirk,” but it’s often an early sign of torticollis — and it can affect far more than you think.

When a baby’s neck muscles or joints are tight on one side, they naturally favor that direction. Over time, this can lead to:

➡️ Feeding Struggles
Babies with torticollis often latch better on one breast or prefer one feeding position because turning their head the other way is uncomfortable.

➡️ Flat Spots (Plagiocephaly)
Constant pressure on one side of the head can change head shape if not addressed early.

➡️ Trouble with Tummy Time
If they can’t lift or turn their head comfortably, tummy time can feel frustrating — which then slows motor development.
