Low back, knee and foot pain can come directly from tight hamstrings. Here is an excellent, informative clip that offers simple ways to retrain the way we move, sit, reach forward etc. that are true solutions to lengthen the hamstrings vs just stretching.

I am frequently asked about muscle knots and what to do about them. Muscle knots are created from overuse, poor posture, strain or trauma where the body responds by tightening into a ‘knot’ to protect from further injury.
Here is a great video showing simple ways to treat the traps, shoulders neck & back where trigger points (knots) are most common. When you can’t get in for massage, these simple and effective techniques can help greatly to eliminate muscle knots, decrease pain, bring in blood flow and increase range of motion.
