FABULOUS tour out at this afternoon for their Olio Nuovo Festival! Explored the beautiful olive and lavender farm, learned tons, visited the mill, tasted multiple varieties onsite, perused their gorgeous gift shop, and ultimately went home with the Frantoio.

Durant is a fifth-generation farm and is among the world’s top ten best olive oil producers. What a treat to have them right here in the Willamette Valley!

Quality matters, and knowing where your fruit comes from is THE most important factor. Unless you know your grower overseas, it’s best to shop as local as possible.
