🕺💃 The Aspire Dance Team has been on a roll this fall 💃🕺

They have been spreading joy, rhythm, and Halloween spirit wherever they go! From two surprise flash mobs in September to spooky-fun Halloween performances at Scarecrow Fest in St. Charles and the Pumpkin Fest at the Cosley Zoo, our dancers have been lighting up the stage with their energy and talent. 🎃🕸️

We’re so proud of this amazing crew for sharing their passion, confidence, and creativity with the community — proving once again that when we move together, we’re Powered by Possible! 💙

What a fall-tastic day at our Possibility Academy in Waukegan! 🍁🎈

A huge thank-you to our amazing friends at Astellas Pharma US for spending the day helping us decorate for the fall season! From leaf bunches and window stickers to an incredible balloon arch, they brought so much creativity and cheer to our space. 🎃✨

Even better, they teamed up with the people we support to put up every decoration and we wrapped up the day with a temporary tattoo party, which was an absolute hit! 💙

We’re so grateful for Astellas Pharma US’ continued support, kindness, and advocacy. Thank you for helping us create spaces filled with color, joy, and connection. 🍂

🌟 NDEAM Spotlight: Scott! 🌟

If you’ve ever met Scott, you know his joy is contagious! His bright smile and friendly energy light up every room, and now, every shift at MOD Pizza. 🍕

For the past year and a half, Scott has been thriving as part of the Pizza family by greeting guests, folding pizza boxes, packaging cakes, and helping set up the restaurant for success. His hard work, kindness, and sense of humor make him a favorite among coworkers and customers alike!

“Scott is such an incredible person to have around,” shares Angie, his manager. “His energy is something everyone feels, coworkers and customers alike.”

Scott’s story reminds us that when people of all abilities are supported and included, amazing things happen. 💙

🌟 NDEAM Spotlight: Ella! 🌟

From the very start, Ella’s energy, kindness, and determination made her shine. As part of the very first cohort of Aspire’s Employment Training Program, she quickly stood out for her enthusiasm and willingness to learn. 💙

After completing her internship with Parts Town, Ella’s hard work paid off as she was offered a full-time role, where she continues to thrive and grow every day!

Ella’s journey is a true reflection of what’s possible when people of all abilities are given the chance to learn, work, and succeed. This National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), we’re so proud to celebrate her accomplishments and the power of meaningful, inclusive employment.

🌟 NDEAM Spotlight: Ben! 🌟

When you meet Ben, his positivity and passion shine right through. For more than 20 years, he’s been part of the Superior Ambulance family, a place he describes as supportive, welcoming, and like home. 💙

Ben started his journey in accounts receivable while still in high school, later becoming a dispatcher, completing his EMT-B course in 2006, and joining the education team where he continues to make a difference every day. 🚑🔥

Ben’s dedication and warmth inspire everyone around him, at Superior Ambulance and right here at our Weinberg Career and Life Enrichment Academy in Hillside. This National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), we’re proud to celebrate his incredible achievements and the power of welcoming workplaces that make success like his possible.

With the Chicago Marathon just days away, the people we support have been busy creating colorful, inspiring posters to cheer on Team Aspire this Sunday! 🏃‍♀️💙

We had so much fun making them, the laughter, creativity, and teamwork were off the charts! Everyone’s feeling pumped and ready to cheer their hearts out for our amazing runners! 💪✨

A huge thank you to our amazing friends at Puttshack for spending the morning with us! ✨

We had such a great time playing our favorite card and board games, coloring, tossing bags, and practicing our putting skills on the mini golf green they brought along, which was an absolute hole in one with the people we support! ⛳

Even better, Puttshack generously donated a mini putting green so the fun can continue long after the visit. We’re so grateful for their continued partnership and for creating moments of joy, connection, and play at Aspire. 💙

We had the honor of welcoming Senator John Curran (District 41) and State Representative Nicole La Ha (District 82) to Academy South today, joined by their staff Tony Esposito and Conor Gorman. 🌟

During their visit, they toured our Employment Training Program space, connected with someone we support to hear about his employment journey, and joined conversations in the Eatery around voting and advocacy. 🗳️💼

We are grateful for their thoughtful questions, meaningful conversations, and ongoing commitment to Aspire and to creating opportunities for people with disabilities. 💙
