Victory, we have completed another fall season with ! We are so proud of our boys, the Ibis 2017's for how far they have taken their development from last year. MK will take a couple weeks off to rest his feet and then we will be back to off-season training. We are relieved from our duties for now, but we will be ready to put in the work for this coming Spring.

Congratulations Alyssa Petro on 5 years of operating The Yoga & Pilates Co-Op! The anniversary party last night was the jam! Our party was a collective effort that literally took a village. At this time I would like to thank our beautiful community. Thank you so much! Proud that no matter the obstacles and challenges we make time for our family tradition. At the dinner table tonight I told Alyssa Petro that I wished that it was fall all year long. This is personally my favorite time of year. She pointed out that the fall would not be that sweet in the absence of the steamy Lowcountry summer. This fall is particularly spectacular making up for the brutal hot rainy summer that we just endured.

Figured that if people from all over the country flock my neighborhood to celebrate the 4th, it has to be a good time. My affiliate band was playing , and the beach was packed to the brim. I would have liked to hang out longer but had to get the little man home. Love the 4th, but as a local, I am glad it is behind us.

Wow, MK19 just had a story book finish to his first full season of travel soccer. The finals just ended in overtime, tied at 3 to 3. Two minutes left in overtime MK, sneaks in the game winner. At that point it was matter of calming them down to focus on defense. Mom, dad, your family, friends and your Island are all super proud of you!

The big guy was awarded the Bolt Award for sportsmanship and leadership on the pitch. Alyssa and I are very dedicated and passionate and there is nothing more that we want in this world than to carry that forward through Mariano. The ceremony for the awards was at the headquarters of Tormenta FC Academy at the semi pro facility in Statesboro Georgia.

If your all soccer fan and you have not attended a Tormenta game in Statesboro, you are doing yourself a disservice. I was completely blown away at the level of explosive athleticism that we witnessed last night. This was our family's first outing supporting the main team but it will not be our last. Love when our expectations are exceeded!
