Did You Know Liberty Manna House Serves Meals To Those In Need?

Established in 1992, the Liberty County Manna House operates as a local food and clothing bank located next to the Live Oak Public Library in Hinesville, GA. The organization provides food assistance to an average of 2,300 individuals each month through its pantry and serves approximately 650 meals in its soup kitchen.

Liberty County Manna House is committed to supporting at-risk children, disabled veterans, low-income families and seniors, the unemployed and underemployed, the homeless, and military service members and their families.

Food Distribution
Monday – Friday: 9:00 am - 12:00 noon

Soup Kitchen
Monday – Friday: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Clothing Giveaway
Daily: 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Carleigh brings extensive clinical experience in medical-surgical, step-down, and intensive care settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia College & State University.

We had a fantastic time at Coastal Manor Nursing Home hosting our Sepsis Awareness Escape Room training!

What started with a bit of curiosity quickly turned into an engaging, hands-on learning experience. Through teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, staff enhanced their knowledge of sepsis awareness while having fun along the way.

The event wrapped up with a prize drawing — congratulations to our winner, Aubree Harvey, CNA!

A big thank you to everyone who participated with such enthusiasm and energy.

U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week (USAAW), held November 18–24, promotes the proper use of antibiotics and antifungals and raises awareness about antimicrobial resistance (AR) affecting people, animals, plants, and the environment.

Prevent infections through good hygiene and health practices:
*Wash your hands: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom and before eating.
*Use hand sanitizer: If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
*Get vaccinated: Stay up-to-date on all recommended vaccinations, including the flu.
*Stay home when sick: To prevent spreading germs, stay home from work or school if you are sick.
*Cover coughs and sneezes: Use a tissue or your elbow to cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.
