Once we chamber a barrel to an action, we record every dimension of both the barrel and the action. This information is then saved in our database per the serial number of the action.

You may ask why we do this…

We do offer prefit barrels, but we also offer “action specific” prefits. Meaning, we can machine the barrel tenon and chamber barrels matching previous barrels that we have chambered to a specific action. When I say match, I mean a .0002” tolerance!

Say you want to adjust a dimension on a new barrel from a previous barrel that we machined and chambered (such as the headspace or freebore). That’s no problem!
