To truly improve the fox red Labrador, it is often necessary to breed outside the fox red shade of yellow to strengthen the qualities that define the Labrador Retriever as a whole. Careful selection from other bloodlines and coat colors allows us to improve structure, movement, health clearances, and overall breed type while preserving the rich fox red color we love.

At Blackfork Labradors, we have spent the past 20 years dedicated to improving the Fox Red Labrador Retriever. We had a very busy day Wednesday! Reah was on the road with me since 10:30am. We arrived at the vet office at 3:00pm, and we finally left at 5:00pm. She waited so patiently. She made a lot of new friends while we waited. She is so much like her momma (Danika), and her grandma (Cindy). Can’t wait to see her puppies in May!

Update from the Robbins Family
