Rider schedule for Saturday, May 17 SRS Clinic - walk-in auditors welcome!
Friday, May 16 program following lessons: “In Rhythm with the Horse – Mastery Through Classical Training and Mindset.”
Helmot will take us on an inspiring journey through the world of the Spanish Riding School – from the birth of a foal in Piber to the refined school stallion performing in Vienna. You’ll discover how systematic training, mental strength, and true partnership between horse and human create moments of effortless brilliance. Rooted in centuries of tradition, this presentation bridges classical horsemanship with modern insights from coaching and personal development.
This is a unique opportunity to go backstage and see how the stallions at the Spanish Riding School are raised and trained. Helmot has a special interest on the important influence that mental resilience and coaching play in equestrian disciplines. He will be addressing confidence issues, focus, fear, and anxiety. Here is a rare opportunity to talk with an SRS Bereiter, ask questions, and learn from the most established source of classical riding in the world. $15 includes meet & greet, program w/video, beverages and appetizers.

Schedule is set for this weekend's clinic with Spanish Riding School Bereiter Marius Schreiner at Summerwood Equestrian Center, Fenton, MI. Below is link to schedule, auditor information, and clinic flier.
Sunday's clinic will feature a lunchtime discussion session with Marius to ask questions about training, the SRS, competition, etc. and all will be able to hear the answers and share in the conversation. If you've signed up to audit on Saturday and want to switch to Sunday, please shoot me a message.
It turns out I won't be at the clinic on Saturday due to our son graduating from college that day, but am looking forward to being there on Sunday!

Musical Freestyle Design Clinic with Karen Robinson of Applause Dressage. Karen Robinson returns to Michigan for the 11th year! Oct 30 at Topline Dressage in Clarkston, MI. Five riders from TR to GP will complete the entire design process today. Each rider will have a 45 minute music selection session and a 45 minute choreography session later in the day. Oct 31 & Nov 1 at Pepper Ridge Equestrian Center in Holly, MI. A new group of ten riders from TR to GP will work with Karen with music selection on the 1st day and choreography on the 2nd. Auditors are $20/day if preregistered by Oct 15. Walk-ins are $25. More information and rider applications can be found at michigandressageclinics.com
