Victoria was born on 9-11-01 and it was not until years later that she was diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease. In 2013, we began lobbying for safe access to Cannabis oil. Victoria is profound special needs, she can’t talk or read. Thanks for reading!

I have a Dear friend and we were laughing and chatting one day.

He said “I bet Victoria gets on the phone at night after you all go to bed and she probably tells a TV show overseas what all happens in your daily life and they utilize it as television script” 🥹

That maybe the case and today she would have a doozy of a story for them.

It would start off like………

We made it to her appointment, early!

Even though we had to take Jayden to Dad’s doctor appointment beforehand. He thinks he had a mini stroke and the Doctor told him to go straight to the ER. Jayden dropped him off at the ER (near 75) and left with his dad’s phone and truck.

Now I’m working to figure out what hospital he’s at.

Victoria has a cyst, so that’s great news. Follow up in 9 months!

**Edit to add** It’s almost midnight, he’s still at the ER. No answers yet. They did a CT scan earlier.

Sharing an oldie but goodie.

This is Princess Victoria with her siblings & her cousin (who lived with us)

She was always a trooper. Jayden & Joseph were complaining about the sun in their eyes. Six kids in 1 photo was a mission impossible. Victoria is always smiling. Even now it’s hard to know if she’s in pain because she just smiles so pretty. She has removed all of the dressing from her incision and whatever was holding it together. Salve is coming to the rescue. If you don’t know about salve then you’re truly missing out. She’s resting now! Surely as I press “done” and post this, she will be awake. Joseph has a friend coming down from Illinois to stay for a week (perfect timing, A?) I need to put this phone down and clean, clean, clean. Fingers crossed for Monday’s appointment, I am 100% certain, everything little thing gonna be alright.

She’s a trooper and her family is too!

But as my big brother Bradley calls it “Dr. Google” was not that bad.

Today I am supposed to be speaking at the Georgia State Capitol, my name is on the agenda.

Keeping her from pulling out her stitches is the number one goal.

Dr. Sandra Helmers! My Aunt Ellen & I were on the phone last night trying to remember the first VNS Doctor at Emory, we saw in back in 2004. Victoria has had many replacement VNS batteries since then but at 24, She’s done.

Thanks for dinner last night, Chip and Hearts of Harmony. Chip is the best thing about Cherokee Co. Decatur doesn’t have a Chip, we will miss him dearly. If you don’t know, Chip is a Special needs dad 24/7 with an adult at home. He knows our struggles 100%💜 

In case you missed it, there’s a man on our street with NO CHILDREN, bored I suppose. He keeps sending complaints to HOA. Because we don’t have enough to deal with, we want to move back to Decatur, Ga where no one cares if you change your oil in the driveway. ✌️

Victoria has undergone surgery and a significant mass was discovered on her thyroid gland. A consultation with an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist is scheduled for Monday, followed by an MRI of the mass to determine the next course of action. I am sure it’s nothing to be worried about, at least that’s what I am telling myself. Thank YOU all for the 💜
