“Mamãe! Let's see the sun waking up! Let's go!!!”

It was 5:30 am, and we four were crumbled in our tiny tent just a few inches from the beach. We all wanted to sleep more, but our little guy didn't give us any choice. So we all rolled down to the beach and sat down, starting at the horizon. Simply being there with each other, feeling the fresh morning breeze, watching the sky magically changing colors, and dancing clouds brought us peace and a sense of wholeness.

I am glad the little guy got us out to renew our spirits 🤍

Almost 20 years ago, I majored in Ecology because I wanted to save nature, the beaches, the forests, and the animals. I was in love with nature, but since then, I have learned that nature can save us and not so much the other way around. But to let nature nourish us, we must create a meaningful and respectful relationship with her. And the most significant way to be green and save the world is to expose ourselves to nature!
