This meal right here would have been the beginning of a terrible month long food binge.
I would have sat there and felt guilty while crunching on my sweet potato fries.
Stuffing myself with as much food as I could because I had been restricting myself for weeks.
Cutting my calories drastically, doing an hour of cardio on top of my strength training workouts.
And denying all of the foods that I loved.
Feeling disgusted and totally stuffed after all the free bread, appetizers, and my food.
Of course, I would say yes when the waiter asked if we wanted a dessert menu.
I'm telling you all this because there is a better way to approach weight loss.
One without giving up the foods and snacks you love.
One where you don't feel completely miserable all day.
