Sending you a reminder that you don’t need to be busy to be productive, that you don’t need to be doing in order to be innovative and creative. 💡It is many times in the moments of space and quiet that our best ideas come.
Our modern society has taught us to worship at the Temple of Stress. Go go go, work work work. The high-stress states that we are living in is not sustainable. We will burn hot, and burn out. Stress related disease is skyrocketing, anxiety disorders are becoming the norm. This can be changed!
Our brains are actually the MOST creative when they are transmitting alpha brain waves, i.e, when we’re feeling safe and relaxed!
A few of our favorite things that help us to be more productive, more creative, and less stressed:
~Regular walks/time in nature
~Breathwork - (the breath is the fastest way to activate the alpha brain wave states that we know of)
~Rest days! Get offline for a full day a week
~Read the books Time Off by , and Breath by
~Regular exercise
~ENJOYMENT of the little things in life - friends, fam, yourself, nourishing food, a great conversation
~daily gratitude practice
