~ In the heat of change, where do you retreat to?
~ In the thickness of discomfort, what do you grasp onto?
~ In the unpredictability of shifting sands, how do you try to stop the free fall?
Our patterns are not inherently bad. Theyโve served a purpose... to keep us safe. But when we become too rigid in our approach to life, we stop ourselves from expanding into a more embodied version of who we ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ to be. In order to grow, we must make peace with allowing parts of us to die off when they are ready, instead of clinging to them with fear-filled hands.
In reality,
-Our true Self is in our Soul and is immutable + constant.
-What we call our identity is an outside construct that evolves & changes with each experience we have. It is not ๐๐ฉ๐ฐ we are.
Knowing this, means on the path to personal discovery we learn to become aquainted with the inevitable cycle of birth, life + death that nature so effortlessly models for us.
We ๐ข๐ค๐ค๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ต that we must shed outdated identities like old skin, or risk getting stuck in the suffering of grieving an aspect of Self that is long deadโฆ much to the detriment of our evolution forward.
We honor the old and create space for the new to enter our lives with deep and humble gratitude for all the ๐ด๐ฆ๐ญ๐ท๐ฆ๐ด weโve already been.
This is how we can bring ๐ด๐ฐ๐๐ด to the ongoing transitionsโฆ trusting the process beyond what our eyes can see and leaning into the Universal flow of Oneness coursing through each of us in a state of harmony versus resistance.
Take a moment to get quiet and ask yourself:
- Who am I? โฆ without my titles, job, salary, degrees and accomplishments
- What are the undeniable truths that my Soul wants to express?
- How do I stand in my own way at times?
- Why am I really scared of stripping off layers?
- Do I feel safe to be seen at my Core?
