As I reflect on my first year in business, my heart is so full.
To every family who trusted me to walk beside you through pregnancy, birth, and the tender days beyond—thank you. Thank you for inviting me into some of the most powerful, vulnerable, life-changing moments of your lives.

This year brought 35 births, countless lessons, deep connections, and so much gratitude. I am incredibly proud of what’s been built and even more honored by the trust each of you placed in me as your midwife.

This work is sacred, and I don’t take it lightly. Here’s to the families, the babies, the strength of birthing people, and the community that made this first year so meaningful!

I had the absolute joy of attending a beautiful home birth for a truly lovely family today. This little one is already so loved — welcomed earthside by her four amazing older siblings who were bursting with excitement to meet her.

There’s something incredibly special about witnessing a family grow right in the comfort of their home, surrounded by love, calm, and connection. It’s an honor every single time, and this birth was no exception.

🌲 A Milestone Birth 🌲

This morning, I had the honor of catching my 500th baby — and it couldn’t have been more special. This beautiful little one was born at home into the arms of a family who has trusted me to walk beside them through four of their six births. This beautiful baby sister has 5 big brothers to guide her.

Each of their journeys has been unique, sacred, and full of love — and to celebrate this milestone together felt like coming full circle. 💚

What a joy it is to serve families in such intimate, powerful moments of life. Here’s to 500 babies earthside… and to every family who has allowed me to be part of their story as I've attended 772 births total! 💚🌲🌲🌲💚

Days like today remind me exactly why I love this work. Bearing witness to new life entering the world — each birth so unique, powerful, and sacred — is an honor beyond words.

After more than 40 incredible hours of labor at home, this strong and determined mama made the brave decision to transfer to the hospital — where she went on to have a beautiful, empowering birth.

Birth doesn’t always unfold the way we imagine, but every path has its own strength, wisdom, and grace. This journey was a perfect reminder that birth is not defined by where it happens, but by the love, courage, and support that surround it. 💚

So proud of this family for trusting the process, staying grounded, and welcoming their precious baby into the world with such calm and power. 💚🌲💚
