We at Sanctuary Counseling have been deeply impacted by the poetry of our friend and mentor Steve Smith- and we're excited that his first book of poetry is now out there for purchase! Sanctuary is expanding our counseling team! We offer professional counseling services in a peaceful and beautiful setting near Montgomery, AL (in Hope Hull/Pintlala).

We are looking for a compassionate, licensed mental health professional (LPC or LMFT) to join our team in June!

In addition to your dedicated office space, you’ll also have access to the amazing outdoor property for walking or sitting sessions with your clients who may want that. We also have the ability to facilitate telehealth sessions.

You would be the third counselor on our growing team and would be a W-2 employee with compensation based on a 60/40 split of your session revenue.

What we’re looking for:
• An Alabama-licensed mental health professional (LPC or LMFT)
• A therapist looking to work primarily in-office as part of a collaborative team
• A full-time therapist targeting ~24 clinical hours each week
• A therapist committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
• A therapist able to learn and use our EHR software for notes, scheduling, and client management

What we offer:
• Furnished office space and access to the outdoor property for sessions
• Comprehensive billing and credentialing services- including direct client and insurance billing (BCBS only)
• Theranest EHR software for notes and client management
• Assistance with new client scheduling
• Marketing & advertising as needed to work towards a desired caseload
• Coverage under Sanctuary’s professional liability insurance policy
• Collaborative team environment
