Oh. My. PAWS. 🐾📚

Guess what?!

My book made it all the way to a Pre-K classroom in New Jersey this week!!

That’s right… little readers I’ve never even sniffed before are hearing my story. I’m picturing tiny voices, wiggly carpet time, and maybe even a few giggles at my brave (and not-so-brave) moments.

From our home to a classroom miles away… that feels pretty dog-gone special. 🐶💛

Oh hi.

Yes, I know.
I have… a little something on my nose. ❄️

Mom said it’s called “snow.”
I’m pretty sure it’s a free-range, locally sourced snow cone.

10/10 would recommend.
Very fresh.
Slightly crunchy.
Pairs well with zoomies.

Also, in case you missed it (hard to miss, it’s literally on my vest) — I am a Therapy Dog. Please pet me. Especially if you are holding snacks. Or snow cones. Or both.

🐾 Rex Goes to Court 🐾

Today I visited the attorneys at the Aroostook County Courthouse in Houlton. They do big, important work for our community — and that kind of responsibility can be stressful.

Good thing I specialize in stress relief. 💙

Between hearings and hard decisions, I offered some tail wags, head scratches, and a reminder to breathe.

It makes my heart (and tail) so happy to brighten the day of the people who serve the public.

Court is serious… but a little love is always in session. 🐾⚖️

🐾📚 Hi friends, it’s Rex!

Today was one of my BEST days ever… I got to visit my first grade class!

Each student took turns reading to me (I listened very carefully… even when there were big words 😉). I got lots of gentle pets, ear scratches, and “good boy” whispers. Reading is way more fun when you have a fluffy audience, if you ask me.

When we were all done, the class surprised me with the sweetest Valentine’s card they each helped make 🥹💌 They also gave me some yummy biscuits (10/10 recommend) AND a toy lobster! I’m not totally sure what a lobster is… but I’m pretty sure it’s my new best friend.

And okay… there may have been one tiny smooch caught on video. I know I’m not really supposed to kiss faces 🙈 but sometimes my heart gets bigger than my self-control. I’m working on it, I promise!

Thank you for letting me be part of your “Reading with Rex” day. I’ll be dreaming about first graders and lobsters tonight. ❤️🐶

🐶📖 Today I had a VERY important first-grade assignment… 📖🐶

I got to visit Houlton Elementary School and hang out with Mrs. Estabrook’s first-grade class! My mom read our book first and then it was finally my turn to meet everyone.

The kids were so kind and respectful — even when I got a little nervous being surrounded by so many new friends at once. I just needed a tiny pause to relax… and they totally understood. 💛

AND GUESS WHAT.

I already got TWO fan letters today. ✉️🐾 (You’ll see them in the photos… along with pics from our visit!)

10/10 good humans.
10/10 gentle pats.
11/10 would visit again.

Thank you for making me feel safe, welcome, and very important today. I left with a tired tail and a very full heart. 🐾❤️

🎉🎂🐶 BREAKING NEWS: I am officially SIX years old today. 🐶🎂🎉

That’s six years of being extremely handsome, giving world-class snuggles, collecting high-fives, and pretending I didn’t hear the word “bath.”

I’ve mastered many things in my six years:
✅ Making humans smile
✅ Sitting (when snacks are involved)
✅ Wearing my therapy vest like a professional gentleman
✅ Stealing hearts
❌ Understanding that I can’t herd the cats

Thank you to all my favorite people for the love, the pats, the treats, and the birthday wishes. Being your therapy dog is my greatest honor… right after peanut butter. 🥜💛

Now please excuse me while I go celebrate the only way I know how: cake-shaped treats and zoomies. 🎂💨🐾

We stopped by Houlton Humane Society to drop off the donations we raised at Adopt-a-Block of Aroostook Light Up the Night! 💡🐶 It might not be a huge amount, but every bit helps and is so appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who donated — you made a difference! ❤️

But honestly? The best part was lighting up all those happy faces that night. 🥰 Seeing kids (and grown-ups!) smile was totally worth every wag and high five!

Silent jaw wars with my “little” sister are probably one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning. Her mouth might be big enough to fit over my whole head but I’m pretty quick!
