We are thrilled to kick off a brand new partnership for our ArtsPlay!™ Pop-up series with Artivism Dance Theater! Join us this Sunday for the first of this free 6-part workshop series made possible by The Helis Foundation.

Our workshops provide engaging arts-based activities designed to instruct caregivers on how to use the arts at home to promote early learning.

Lessons are conducted by certified Louisiana Wolf Trap Teaching Artists, who have expertly crafted multi-sensory experiences that foster children’s natural curiosity for learning.

After each workshop, children and their caregivers can download our digital Connection Cards for tips on how workshop activities can be continued at home. Watch all the videos in the series again by following us on YouTube ().

Caregivers must register for each workshop to participate.

Kids at a farmers market? Absolutely. 🙌

One of the things that makes Market at the Marina special is that families don’t just attend the market… they experience it together.

At every market, we offer two free kids activity areas designed to keep young visitors engaged while also introducing them to the energy of a community gathering.

🌱 Marina Sprouts features fun games and activities that encourage kids to get moving. From ball toss and jump rope to hula hoops and more, it’s all about simple, active fun.

🔬 Saint Matthew’s STEM Lab brings hands-on experiments and activities that spark curiosity and inspire young minds in science, technology, engineering, and math.

While parents shop fresh food, meet local vendors, and connect with neighbors, kids are exploring, playing, and discovering what makes this market special.

Moments like these are how a community grows. And around here, we believe the next generation belongs right in the middle of it.
