This weekend, P.O.P. stood in solidarity at the “Chicago Says No Trump No Troops” march. On September 6, thousands flooded Chicago's streets, boldly resisting threats of National Guard deployment and ICE crackdowns. As organizers chanted on, our team joined the chorus demanding power to our communities, not military force. We’re reminded: our resistance spans cities and states.

We stand against intimidation!

Box Fan Giveaway in Kashmere Gardens!

Over the last two days we gave over 50 box fans!

Day 1: We visited a local community center, delivering fans to elderly residents. Along with helping them beat the summer heat, we had meaningful conversations about how mid-decade redistricting impacts their lives and voices.

Day 2: We went door-to-door, dropping off fans to families and neighbors while also pitching in to help clean up parts of the neighborhood.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed us into your homes and shared your stories. And a BIG shout out to TFQ Landscaping for helping us bring this vision to life!!!

This week, Protest Organize Participate (P.O.P.) had the joy of donating clothing to Laura’s House Resale Store in California — supporting their incredible mission to provide shelter, support, and resources for survivors of domestic violence.

Yesterday, the P.O.P. Organization continued its canvassing program in Kashmere Gardens with our Box Fan Giveaway!

Our team went door-to-door to make sure families in need received relief from the summer heat while also sharing resources and connecting with the community. 💪🏾🖤❤️

We’re proud to stand with our neighbors, bringing both tangible goods and civic engagement directly to the people.

At the Back to School Shoe Giveaway at Lakecrest Village Apartments, we gave out brand-new shoes, backpacks, and more to families in the community.
