Procrastination is a recurring theme in therapy, one that we give ourselves very little compassion over. It’s easy to do the things we like, that are interesting, or are new. It’s much harder to get to those things that just zap us out motivation at the mere thought of it. Addressing the task in super small increments makes it more tolerable because we aren’t overwhelmed by it.
