• Anticipated need in Katy, Missouri City, Sugar Land, Richmond, and surrounding areas
• RBT will work in one given area based on need and proximity.
About the Position:
Think Behaviorally is currently seeking Behavior Technicians! The RBT provides one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy in the home setting to individuals with a diagnosis of autism or a related disorder. The RBT is trained and supervised by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT implements programs and treatment plans designed by the BCBA. No experience required, however, must enjoy working with children and be motivated to make a difference. Training is provided to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)!
Required Experience:
• No experience required!
• We will guide in obtaining RBT credential prior to start date.
• ABA or Special Education experience (preferred)
• Experience with children (preferred)
Required Qualifications:
• 18 years old or older
• High School Diploma
• Ability to pass a background check
• Position requires RBT certification, so you must be willing to obtain certification.
• Reliable transportation
• Interested in a degree in ABA, psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred)
Job Description:
• Work directly one-on-one with clients in their home setting.
• Provide hands-on, direct care.
• Maintain enthusiasm and client engagement.
• Implement teaching trials and treatment plans based on programs developed by the BCBA.
• Implement behavioral protocol provided by the BCBA.
• Activities may include playing or interacting with clients on the floor.
• Activities may involve frequent movement or standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Collect accurate data on system provided by BCBA.
• Assist with personal care routines such as toileting, grooming, eating, etc.
• Maintain and utilize knowledge of ABA terms and principles when trained.
• Adhere to employee handbook policies.
• Ongoing, frequent communication and supervision by BCBA.
