Hip mulligan is a great mobilization technique utilizing a strap to create a distraction force while mobilizing the hip.

This is a great tool for

Decompression is a great treatment for treating herniated discs in both the neck and lower back. It works by creating a negative pressure on the spine which in turn is meant to:

-Decrease compression forces applied to our spine.
-Stimulate imbibition to promote disc healing
-decrease radiating symptoms such as numbness, tingling, radiating pain, and weakness.

Adjustments don’t have to be aggressive! Most of the time, adjustments deliver just enough force to mobilize the targeted joints.

Disc herniations are one of the most common conditions we treat in the office.

Disc pain tends to come on over time, but can also onset with acute injuries, such as car wrecks, trips and falls, or sports injuries.

Disc herniations in the low back can lead to numerous symptoms including:
-Pain
-Numbness/Tingling in the legs
-Shooting pains in the legs
-Weakness in the legs

I find that a ton of patients use these terms interchangeably when in reality, they are inherently 2 different things.

Exercise 💪🏼
-Are muscle contractions to shorten fibers.
-Think of this when you’re actively trying to use your muscles.
-Good for building strength
-Usually best incorporated during mid/late stages of rehab

Stretch 🧘🏻‍♂️
-Lengthening muscle fibers
-Used to increase mobility and flexibility
-Good to incorporate in early stages of rehab
