📚 Exciting News! Join us at the 3rd Annual Melanin Minds Mental Health Conference this Sunday, July 30th, from 10 am to 3:30 pm at Downtown Houston Big Brothers Big Sisters. As part of the Mommy and Me Pop Up Library, we'll be hosting engaging storytimes and craft activities for children aged pre-K to 12th grade in our Book Nook! Free books available, so feel free to take a book, leave a book. 🤓📚🎉

Here are some of the amazing books we'll be sharing during story-time:
- Oprah by Alison Oliver
- Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
- Crown: An Ode to the Fresh Cut by Derrick Barnes
- Jabari Tries by Gaia Cornwall

During the craft activity, we'll create visual affirmations. These drawings can depict a story or provide affirmations to uplift and inspire. 🎨✨

Happy Sunday Saints and Aints! Lol It’s a great day to worship God. 💃🏾🙏🏽 Shout out to my girl Denaye for sharing this very relatable message from The Perry’s of Just Worship Entertainment.

I vividly remember both my Grandmother, Mattie Exa, and Granny Pearlie B dancing and shouting at all times when the Spirit filled them. I must admit it would sometimes be embarrassing bc I would see some unbelievers looking in confusion with their whispers. But God!!! When you know, you know!! I thank God that both of these strong women’s prayers are still protecting and covering All my family.
