Transparent moment that I hope set someone free:
‼️‼️‼️I rarely go to my home town in Mississippi. Why? Bad memories, bad reputation, lies about me and unresolved trauma! I went through HELL with not 1 but 2 abusive relationships that I had kids from. Broken and defeated, the only way out was to leave the state. Years later, I’m still going through unresolved trauma. I’m tired, I’m exhausted, Im beaten emotionally, I’m constantly lied on, talked about, ridiculed, laughed at, scrutinized , judged, and I feel defeated even to this day concerning “back home”. I’m tired of praying about it, I’m tired of crying about it, I’m tired of revisiting hurt and pain.
Today, I let it GO. Today is the day that I cry my last tears! I give it all to God, I will put it in Jesus hands. I willingly forgive. I willingly surrender every ounce of hurt and pain that I’ve harbored in my heart for decades, to God today! I take my power back from the enemy. I am more than a conqueror, I am victorious, I am a survivor! My past does NOT define me. My past is my past, and my future has no baggage from it. Jesus has forgiven me, and now I FORGIVE MYSELF! Today, I am free! I pray someone else is freed from their past hurts, trauma and mistakes. Use your testimony to help someone else! Peace be unto you all! 🙏🏾
