⭐Meet Joan Mutai, DNP, MSN/PH, RN, NEA-BC, AMB-BC, GERO-BC, CPCHE, DCP, CMDCP, CLSSYB, a dedicated member of the New Age Hospice team!⭐

For Joan, hospice care is deeply meaningful. She shares that her passion for this work is rooted in her faith and the opportunity to form intimate, meaningful connections with patients and their families during life’s most vulnerable moments. Being able to support families at the end of life and touch lives in ways that reverberate into eternity is what drives her every day.

Joan says hospice work is incredibly rewarding and allows caregivers to build connections with patients and families that may not happen anywhere else. Outside of work, she enjoys reading the Bible, spending time with her family, and taking moments of rest whenever she can.

We’re grateful to have Joan’s compassion, dedication, and heart for service as part of the New Age Hospice team!✨

✨Employee Spotlight: Marlene Graham, LMSW-IPR, Community Liaison✨

For Marlene, hospice isn’t just a career, it’s a calling.

She finds purpose in being “the calm in the storm” for patients and families as they navigate difficult decisions. With both professional expertise and personal experience caring for loved ones, Marlene brings deep compassion, understanding, and empathy to every family she serves.

Marlene shares that hospice aligns with her core values and spiritual beliefs, and she feels honored each time a patient and their family invite her into their home during such an important moment in their lives. She’s also grateful to work alongside teammates she’s known for over 20 years who share the same “hospice heart.”

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Marlene traveling, cheering on her son at baseball games, watching hummingbirds, or mentoring local teens.
