So excited to share that I’m having a book signing event at Catholic information center (CIC) on February 3, 2026 from 6-8 PM !!

Please come if you can !! From 6-7 PM - it will be me talking with a Q&A and 7-8 PM will be the book signing.

I am so grateful to this particular Sister - who believed in the work and gave me the confidence to put the teachings into a book format saying it was indeed work inspired by the Holy Spirit.

My testimonial appeared in a Polish magazine ! It came out in the October edition that was published by the congregation of our sisters of our lady of mercy…. Or simply put - the St Faustina sisters in krakow.

The article basically talks about my love for the divine mercy Chaplet and how my conversion took place in Poland (Warsaw). It also goes into the enormous grace and mercy I’ve received from God and that I feel my conversion is an ongoing process.

My first spiritual encounter happened on Feb 22 in Warsaw - the same date that St Faustina received the vision of Jesus telling her to paint an image of him.

Fun fact- I pray the chaplet in Polish because I wanted to pray in the same language that Jesus taught St Faustina the chaplet.

The article also goes into how I was in Poland doing the Wimhof method :) the place where my two lives intersected - breath and cold weren’t only about the method but also the mediums through which God drew me closer to him.

Have you ever experienced love at first sight?

I have and it happened this year when my eyes fell on Fr Joseph. I remember feeling instantly drawn to want to meet him, to be close to him, to touch him. I can imagine it was like this to be around Jesus. Luckily someone said right after holy mass, he loves hugs. So I didn’t hesitate - and I went and stood in line to receive or maybe give ( I don’t think I’ll ever know which one it was) my hug.

While I was standing in line - someone whispered saying ,” he is 99!”. That only enhanced my desire even more to touch him. I thought to myself he’s been longer with Jesus than I’ve been alive ! And right after the hug, i immediately kissed his hand and I asked him for a blessing. I remember he kissed me on my cheek and my hand and he blessed me and that was our first encounter and I have been smitten with him since that day.

I have had many more encounters with him since then and somewhere along the way I started attending his Old Testament scripture classes where he is teaching us about the meaning of Gods covenant with us. Yes Fr Joseph still teaches ! He has even written books. Sometimes I feel the Lord kept him around so long so that I could meet him and know what it means to instantly love someone at the first sight.

Words are very hard to describe how I feel about him, but awe is a good place to start. I’m in awe with his life, his desire to continue teaching and to have conversations. He is still so curious even at this age and doesn’t hesitate to correct us or question us in scripture class and most of all - I love his name - one that reminds me of my own surname. And today he called me “daughter of Abraham” - something I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I’m grateful I met you Fr Joseph - I’m grateful I know you, and I’m grateful through you - God allowed me to meet the first person I know that turned 100. I pray you live for many more years for I do want to learn a lot more from you but most of all so that I can experience Jesus in the flesh for a little while longer before His ascension.

Happy birthday my beloved Fr Joseph.

I am so blessed to be consistently surrounded by men who emulate Jesus. I’m going to miss my new friend Chris terribly - and his jokes at dinner that made me laugh non stop!

Can’t wait to see you next year when you come back to volunteer with the sisters ! Till then, God bless and stay smiling 🙏🙏🙏

It took me 1.5 hours to vote today - not because of the line - but because there was an issue on my end that needed to be straightened out before I could vote. I watched while the voting officials religiously worked through trying to get my issue sorted ( it was really a mistake I had made that they were trying to straighten out) and I really felt in that moment God was showing me how faithful the election workers are in making sure that people could vote.

A special shout out to Charleen Jones, a precinct judge who didn’t leave my side till the issue was sorted. I was amazed at how everyone congratulated me since it was my first presidential election that I was voting at (I became American 3 years ago).

I’ve heard so many horrible stories about how our voting system is broken - today I had a first hand experience of watching how faithful Americans do everything to make sure we can exercise our right to vote, regardless of who we are voting for.

This is what democracy looks like and I’m grateful to call myself an American 🙏

I made it through surgery today …. Had to do a complete reconstruction of my ACL and meniscus.

I’ve settled in with the sisters 🙂 the road to recovery “Emmaus” begins 😉 (Hint: look up the story of St Cleophas if you don’t know what I’m talking about).... ironically the next time I’ll be able to get out of bed for a longer period of time is Sunday to be present at the Lords feast - I’m excited to go to holy mass this Sunday ! For all of you who prayed for me and for those of who will pray for me first recovery - Thank you so much for your prayers!!!

For this to happen in DC where I really had no game plan - God sent people from places I never expected and of course I’m so grateful for the sisters of the Missionaries of Charity🙏 Praise God a million times over in the way he uniquely loves each one of us so much!

I’m grateful for my surgery to happen on this day as well September 25,2024. It’s the feast day of St. Cleopas; Wednesday is the day of St Joseph, and it’s the day of the glorious mysteries where we pray for the theological virtues of faith, hope and charity.
Just like St Cleopas did, I pray I too will always see the holy face of our Lord in all who I encounter during this time 🙏

My first ice bath session after moving to DC ! Check out - such an awesome vibe ! Loved breathing with my fellow Wimhof method instructors !!! And of course we all some how ended up wearing shades of the same color !

Nothing like the stillness that you experience in the cold….

One of the best gifts I receive from the sisters are prayers - my favorite form of payment ! Every time I give the sisters a seminar on breathing - they always put me in their holy mass intentions - and to have my name along side St. John Chrysostom brings me so much joy!

As I sit in the plane looking through all the letters and cards I received in Rome - this one from the Missionaries of Charity Sisters has a special place in my heart.

If this is what the Sisters caught a glimpse of, from the Breath Seminar I taught - my job is done !
