Lord Shiva, one of the three deities governing all living beings, embodies 'Tamas guna' and is responsible for the dissolution and destruction aspect. SadaShiva, a higher aspect of Shiva, is residing at Mount Kailash and is the gateway from BrahmaJyoti to ParBrahmanda. ParamShiva is the highest aspect of Shiva in Shaiva Siddhanta and Kashmir Shaivism. WHO CREATED SOULS? HOW BIG & HOW OLD ARE THE SOULS? WHAT ARE ATTRIBUTES OF THE SOUL?

The Soul is a living being and a part of the Supreme God and is compared to a single cell in the body. Not all Souls are equal in their capacity, light, or advancement, with some being pure and new while others have been around for eons and are creator Souls. The Soul is formless but can maintain forms and has sound and color. As the Soul goes down into creation, it attains various colors and attributes and becomes subject to the laws of those creations. It accumulates layers and uses up its available light to maintain lower forms, like the body. Some Souls have accumulated so many karmas and veils that their light has shrunk, seeking to release those veils and return to the Source Supreme.

In the Great Unknown, it can feel like there is no ground to stand on. We tend to look for safety and stability, but from this state of consciousness, safety is seen as an illusion. In reality, a great impediment to expanding consciousness is that feeling of knowing - being sure of what you know.
