Women Prenatal Mental Healthcare Conference

Rupani Foundation hosts an annual one day “Prenatal Mega Event” that provides opportunities to pregnant women (especially low income, refugee, and immigrant women) across Harris and Fort Bend Counties. The attendees gain knowledge about the physiological and psychological impact pregnancy has on their body. They will also learn how pregnancy affects their wellbeing and the wellbeing of their child. In addition to attending this informational event, attendees are invited to participate in Rupani Foundation’s follow- up perinatal sessions. These sessions help the mothers further prepare for the arrival of their little one and assist them with self-care (mentally, physically, and emotionally) post partum.
