Hey all, So update...
We celebrated the last treatment this month and this Thursday Bridget gets her port taken out! Things are definitely winding down but the journey does continue in a few ways. There are still things happening that are hard to plan for and to know what is to come. Follow-up appointments, screenings, and trial reportings. There is still a need here and we appreciate everything everyone has done. Without you all, the tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills and insurance costs would have been hundreds of thousands of dollars for the exact same care that Bridget received. Thank you so much for your donations and gifts that allowed our family to be minimally impacted by this financially. Your Thoughts and Prayers were heard and Bridget has had a minimal physical impact as well. Choosing a route to minimize surgery and additional costs, she braves a physical change and does not plan to go back for esthetics. We are however at an impasse. We continue to face medical expenses because insurance started over at the first of the year. Funding has now run out. We have been asked for money upfront for her port removal and have the continued expense of her medical insurance through the end of the year. These final 6 months will prove our family's ability to live in these extremely tight economic and stressful times as most of you have felt the effects of as well. If you can give, our go fund me is linked below, or share for us again. Keep the prayers coming!

Welp...that's a wrap!!💥💫
Cancer is part of my story but it's not the ENTIRE STORY and I choose not to live there. While my body is forever changed physically, I'm still the spunky, fun loving, sarcastic, weirdo you all know and (hopefully) love!! Today, I said goodbye to a group of awesome nurses that I've grown fond of, but hope to not be under the care of, ever again. Last treatment started early in the imaging department, brought chickfila to the infusion nurses, got yummy lunch, had a disco party and rang the bell!!

That's all folks!❤️❤️

Next steps, get the port out, lose the weight again and work on feeling good in my skin.
🥰😄

Be blessed, and be grateful, I sure am!! Have an awesome week!!

borrowed this from a friend this morning.

My story:
AMEN! My Dr almost sent me on my way to wait 4 weeks, said he thought it was a cyst and would just recheck. I had to insist it be checked out. When it was all said and done I was grade 3, stage 3b inflammatory bc and IDC, 10cm (aprox. 5" mass).

Be your own advocate!

🎵Every war He wages He will win
I'm not backing down from any giant
'Cause I know how this story ends
Yes, I know how this story ends
… I'm gonna see a victory
I'm gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to You, Lord🎵

So close I can taste it! One more treatment after today. On my last med for today then, a 3 week wait til we party!!

💨Busy few weeks ahead!💨 I start my new job on monday!! Very excited to work hard and be back into the swing if things. Treatment on the 17th with an early morning EKG the same day. Ekgs are easy but prayers and good vibes are always welcomed. The drugs that I'm given can be hard on your heart so it's important to keep an eye on the ol ticker. Graduations, banquets, school dances, STAAR testing...all the things coming up, will definitely make May go by in a blink! Today though, today we celebrate Zane with his friend birthday party and I'm excited to have friends over and celebrate this dude!! Happy HOT Saturday everyone.😍

At a conference this weekend and a quote (that cones from scripture) said over and over stood out to me. "Live without fear of your future"

I mean.. I know that's right! 💥 There is alot of chatter in cancer groups that I'm apart of about what you do when your treatment is over? Your medical safety net is gone. I hadn't thought about that, but its so true; however I'll choose to live out this scripture.

Proverbs 31:25 — New Living Translation (NLT)
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
