So thrilled to do partner training with Jason and Kristin McKenzie Rice. If you can’t have a doula present, partner training is the way to go. It was a touchdown for this couple when dad had the skills to support mom’s long labor. Below are Jason’s thoughts about partner training:

“I wish I would have known the first time around and even earlier on this time around how important it is for me to know my wife’s rights and decisions and how to be the best coach possible.

Partner training is vital. I feel everything pre season leading up to the game I could thrive with our unique situation of laboring at home for 2 weeks already almost in active labor, I wouldn’t have known positions and massages and techniques to use during that two weeks had I not learned and listened and sought out how to be a better coach.”

I am now accepting new Birth clients for Spring. I have one slot open for Feb, 2 for March and one for April. I also have several slots open for private partner and child birth training as well.
Every woman deserves a doula. No matter if you are planning a hospital birth, home or birth center birth, medicated or natural, getting the support and advocacy you need can make all the difference in the world.

So glad to have doulaed for another beautiful birth. Now I’m going to enjoy a much needed break until my next delivery in Dec.
I do have some openings in the spring for new clients. Let me know if I can doula for you or a loved one whether in the hospital, birth center or home. Regardless of the birth plan, every woman needs a doula.

Another happy family I was privileged to have the pleasure of doulaing for.
It doesn’t matter if you are going natural, having an epindural, birthing at a hospital or birth center. My job as a doula is to provide evidence based information, support you physically, mentally and emotionally, and advocate for you so you have as close to your vision of your perfect birth as possible. Every mother needs a doula.

Another beautiful birth. Mom was incredible and so was the OB who let her deliver her own baby. Being a doula is such an incredible experience. Every woman deserves a doula.
