Turning 50 and why I’m not choosing HRT right now…..
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) has received much more awareness, and that’s a good thing.
For some women, HRT can be a very supportive tool.
I’m not here to argue with that.
I’m sharing this because I want women to feel empowered to make informed, aligned decisions not decisions driven by fear, pressure, or urgency.
For me, at this stage of my life, I’m choosing not to be on HRT.
Right now, I don’t see a need for it. My body is communicating clearly, and I’m responding to what it’s asking for.
I also see perimenopause and menopause as major physiological transitions. Many women move through this phase without HRT support, just as many women benefit from it. Both realities can coexist.
When I weigh the potential risks and benefits for me, the benefits don’t currently outweigh the risks. Because of that, I’m choosing to focus on long-term, foundational support instead.
That means rhythm, energy, nervous system regulation, and cellular health. ⚡️
I want to be very clear about this:
👉You can’t HRT your way out of a lifestyle that’s costing you your health.
👉And choosing not to use HRT doesn’t mean doing nothing—it means lifestyle support matters even more.
There is no single right path.
Only the path that’s informed, intentional, and aligned with you.
