For the last month, I’ve been focused on creating a hyper realistic AI twin.

With our ever changing technology, people are on the fence with AI tools. Many people see AI as something negative and some people see it as a tool that helps them run their business and be more efficient. Regardless of how you feel, it is here.

I use an AI twin because it solves a real business problem: staying consistent with content while running a business and meeting clients. In the digital landscape we live in today, maintaining a constant presence is difficult when everything falls on your shoulders, especially as a solo entrepreneur or with a small team.

The goal was a hyper realistic version that does not look overly polished and can feel more relatable.

I’m always transparent that it is my AI twin and these pictures are not pictures of the actual me. But the sales psychology matters. People see your face, they acknowledge it’s you, and that recognition helps you maintain presence even when you’re busy.

With my AI twin, I can produce photo shoots on demand and create high volume, quality content quickly. It’s allowed me to stay consistent and captivate my audience at a much lower budget than hiring, outsourcing, or trying to manage all of my social media myself.

One of the cleanest places I’ve ever been… I didn’t see trash anywhere.

Even the subway system? Super organized. Clear markings. The floor literally looked mopped.
Everything felt intentional, like the environment itself was designed to feel calm.

But I’ll be honest… when I first arrived, I was overwhelmed.

I don’t speak Japanese (and no, I didn’t learn anything from my sister-in-law all these years 😅). So I had to rely on body language, signals, and intuition to figure things out.

And it hit me:
This is what it feels like for people who visit a country without knowing the language. As a Spanish speaker anything close to Spanish is easy for me to mostly understand and feels less foreign.

I was paying attention to everything.
Tone. Gestures. Movement. Energy.
You’re not just “seeing” you’re reading the room.

I loved seeing the temples and shrines… and then turning around and seeing modern architecture.

Fun fact: I got my bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Interior Design/Interior Architecture, and that foundation is literally what helped me become the graphic + web designer I am today.

I’m observant. Like very 😅

What stood out the most was the way Japanese design uses light.

Natural light. Soft lighting. Warm lighting. Lanterns (which I was OBSESSED with).

Because they don’t just use light to “see”…

They use light to create a feeling.

Good design isn’t just what something looks like. It’s what it makes you feel.

That’s why people are drawn to certain spaces.
That’s why some brands feel “expensive” before you even know the price.
That’s why some websites make you want to stay… and others make you click out immediately.

Because design speaks, even without words.

Tired of your dated headshots? Have your patients or clients ever told you, you look different on your website? 🫣 (this actually happened to one of my clients)

I get it, branded photoshoots are expensive! Believe me I know I have spent a few thousand over the years for branding and lifestyle photoshoots!

Now, you can spend less than $350/year for on-demand quality photoshoots and brolls and have fresh new content and marketing material when you need it!

This year I made two big marketing bets:
1. ~$1,000 on Pinterest ads with no real strategy (aka: “let me just try it and see”).
Result: reach, clicks… but no clear path to sales.
2. ~$7,000 to showcase at a conference (booth + travel + everything that adds up).
Result: not one single lead.

It stung. I’m not gonna pretend it didn’t.

But here’s the part I need you to hear:
This wasn’t a year of “loss.” It was a year of data. And because of that data, I now know:
• Bigger isn’t better. Targeted is better. I picked the bigger event thinking it meant more leads… when I should’ve picked the smaller room that actually aligned with my ideal client.
• A clear offer + message (what I do, who it’s for, and why it’s worth it)
• A conversion path (what happens after someone sees me—where do they go next?)
• A follow-up plan (how I turn interest into conversations and conversations into sales)

AND… even though these two investments didn’t hit, this was still the year I more than 2x’d my business because I tested other marketing efforts that did return.

So no — I didn’t “fail.”
I bought clarity… and I got smarter.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and build a marketing plan that actually fits you (and helps you attract + sell to your ideal patients/clients), comment “YESTERDAY” and I’ll send you the details.

When I decided to scale my business, that looked like scaling back in my personal life.

That means instead of paying $2k in rent, I’m paying $1,100 in rent in a city I don’t really want to be in. That looks like washing my laundry at a laundromat because my apartment doesn’t have a washer or dryer. It looks like not buying the dream house with a $2,500–$3,000 mortgage so I can take that money and put it back into my business.

This is the less glamorous side of being a business owner and only having one income. It’s not going out with your friends for dinner every weekend or date night because we are dreaming bigger. That means driving my paid-off Toyota CHR instead of paying for a luxury car. It looks like paying off debt so I can cash flow. It looks like finding where you’re bleeding money so you can maximize your cash flow.

Sure, I could stay where I am today, but I can’t explain this desire to keep going and growing. I would rather take that “extra” money and invest it back into the business and spend it on experiences when I can.

They say cash is king, but lately, it makes more sense. When you’re debt-free, there is more freedom in how you allocate your funds and how you maximize opportunities.

If this finds you and you’re caught between staying where you are and this desire to go deeper, this is for you. It’s okay to not have the “fancier” things in life so you can live and love the life you truly desire.

Now I needs a hook

Should I say i still wash my laundry and the laundry mat or something more I loved but people need to know I’m a business owner or entrepreneur
