End-of-summer sales are a great opportunity to purchase items at deep discounts and save for next year. Here are great things to buy on sale at the end of summer 🌞

1. Clothes: Department stores slash prices on summer clothes to make room for fall and winter inventory. Stock up on shorts, t-shirts (year round in Texas), and sandals for next summer.

2. Outdoor Furniture and Grills: As the outdoor season winds down, stores offer sales on patio furniture, grills, and outdoor decor.

3. Gardening Supplies: Garden tools, planters, and seeds may be discounted as the growing season ends. You can prepare for next year's gardening needs at a lower cost.

4. Camping Gear: With camping season wrapping up, tents, sleeping bags, and other outdoor equipment often see price reductions. It's a great time to upgrade your gear for future adventures.

5. School Supplies: After back-to-school rushes, many stores discount remaining supplies. Stock up on notebooks, pens, and other essentials for next year at a fraction of the price.

What are your favorite sales to hit at the end of summer that help you save money all year?

Do you feel stressed shopping for groceries? If there is one recent experience we all have in common, it is increased costs for almost everything, and it can be particularly challenging when it comes to budgeting for what we feed ourselves.

My mission is to help people solve problems so they can have more money, so I put together a list of affordable items for your pantry and fridge, that you can make multiple meals with.

☑️ Rice: use in stir-fries, casseroles, soups, salads, and as a side dish

☑️ Pasta: pair with various sauces, meats, cheeses, and vegetables

☑️ Canned Tomatoes: make sauces, soups, stews, and add to meals for flavor and nutrition

☑️ Beans (canned or dried): add to soups, stews, salads, and serve as a side dish
⭐️ Bonus: beans are a good source of protein and fiber

☑️ Frozen Vegetables: quickly add flavor and nutritional value to stir-fries, casseroles, and soups

☑️ Eggs: eat them different ways for breakfast, on salads, in sandwiches or by themselves; use in baking

☑️ Flour: bake, make sauces, use as breading, and more
⭐️ Two ingredient tip: Make tortillas with flour and water

☑️ Garlic: Add depth and flavor to a wide range of dishes - use raw or cooked.

☑️ Olive Oil: great for cooking, sautéing, dressing salads, and even baking.
⭐️Bonus: Olive oil is a healthy fat

☑️ Popcorn: enjoy this fun and easy to make affordable snack.

These ingredients offer a balance of nutrition and versatility, allowing you to create a wide variety of meals without breaking the bank.
