I want to thank each and every one of you for the birthday wishes, calls, texts, cards, messages, and prayers! I’m stepping into a new season of life, and I thank God for each of you and for everything He’s doing in this moment.
These past six days have been full, busy, and filled with important decisions. Without God’s grace and favor 🙏🏼, I would not be in the space, spirit, or mindset to make them or embrace the opportunities before me. God is so merciful, forgiving, loving, and faithful ❤️. My prayer each day is to keep choosing better, to show up as a positive person, a leader, and a role model—not only for my son but for everyone I’m blessed to impact.
I’ve been gifted with the honor of raising a son 💙, and as a single mother, I now see more clearly than ever how my love, sacrifices, and commitment to his growth have shaped him into such a caring, genuine, and mature young man. He hasn’t just watched our journey—he’s lived it. And now, he wants his mother to experience the very best that life has to offer. His words, actions, and gratitude toward me are truly priceless ❤️. I couldn’t ask for a better son to love, raise, and be proud of. He treated me all 6 days by covering meals, drinks (no alcohol y'all- lol), gas, activities and so much more... He didn't have to do any of that at all! His words, presence and love was sufficient for me and he did what de desired to do.... WOW!
Life isn’t always easy, and the world only knows what it knows. But I am so thankful that God continues to keep me, stretch me, and love me as He carries us through. God makes no mistakes 🙏🏼! Glory to the One who loves us unconditionally and calls us His own ❤️.
So here’s my encouragement to you—especially to my fellow single parents: keep showing up, keep making the best decisions you can, and keep walking in faith. Show your children every day how much you love them, and remind them through your actions that they are your greatest blessing. Let them see your sacrifices, your gratitude, and your resilience—because it will shape them into the kind of people who know how to love, honor, and value others.
We may not always get it right, but we can keep doing our best.
