✅ 1st dose of Pfizer COVID vaccine
✅ Continue COVID precautions
I have been eager to receive this vaccine for a long time. In reviewing the research, it is more effective than the flu vaccine and has minimal side effects. So far, there have been only 6 serious reactions in the >272,000 doses. I had a sore arm for 24 hours, then was back to normal. I had no hesitation to take the vaccine to protect my patients, family and my own health. I hope that we can all collectively do our part to move past this pandemic. Please review reliable scientific information when deciding to get this vaccine. In the meantime, stay safe -- wash hands, wear a mask and maintain social distance.
