About The Beauty & Wellness Doc

Dr. Alexia McClerkin received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Nursing, where she is set to graduate in 2022. Dr. McClerkin also became a Board-Certified Chiropractor after attending the Texas Chiropractic College.

As a nurse, chiropractor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, wife, and mother, Dr. McClerkin is a leader here in the Houston community whose goal is to provide people with a place where they can leave feeling good about themselves; somewhere where they can receive multiple beauty services and feel like a person, not just a face. Dr. McClerkin’s intention is to craft The Beauty and Wellness Doc into the first name people think of in Houston when they envision med-spas, beauty, and aesthetics.

Throughout her career, the health and fitness of women have been her primary focus. She prides herself on educating women about the importance of prioritizing their wellness and nutrition throughout pregnancy. While pregnant herself, she set a goal to run at least one marathon a month; this eventually led to her founding her non-profit, 9 Months of 5K!

As you can see, Dr. McClerkin is extremely passionate about providing women with the information and the tools they need to live healthier lives; this is why she is excited to offer them top-of-the-line services at The Beauty and Wellness Doc.
