Park time with the kiddos.
I was on my way to get a placenta and turns out the OB told the parents that it was unsafe to encapsulate because she is Group B Strep positive.
FALSE. Being GBS+ does not mean it's not safe to encapsulate your ... all it means is that, like most people, have that specific bacteria and your placenta should be handled by a professional = me!
Most OBs are not educated on the safety precautions needed, the few issues that would prevent encapsulation, AND the benefits of encapsulating for the mother.
I have had hundred of hours of education as well as handling. I have gone through a certification thay took me a year. I use extreme safety precautions, utilizing both my Texas Food Handlers license and Blood Borne Pathogen certification.

Anyway .... Park time and milks.

Back Story

2 amazing months into our marriage, we lovingly and unexpectedly got pregnant. I never once thought about pregnancy or birth before that. Now that I knew my impending future, I couldn’t get enough information on it. I desired to know how our bodies carried babies, how they grew them and how we birthed them.

As I dove into this world of birth, I realized the need for support...the connection and necessity to have a net of women surrounding me to encourage, love and strengthen me throughout the process (and well into the future while I raise the future).

Bringing support to a pregnant woman, birthing mother, and postpartum healing time is a passion of mine because of the importance of women caring for women. Women of all nations, religions, societies, social statuses have been part of birth and raising the babies since the beginning of time. I encourage you to lean into the trust of other women’s hands during this changing and growing time.

Birth is beautiful...but a woman dying to herself and being reborn a mother is truly a miracle.
