Lacrima C.-Cooking Health Coach, works with busy parents and their children to prepare healthy and satisfying meals. Being a mother of three herself she understands the challenges of making time to prepare meals that are nourishing, but also appealing to the kids at the same time. In her cooking classes she teaches not only easy to prepare recipes and cooking techniques, but also ways to shop smart and make cooking fun and enjoyable for the whole family. I haven't cooked for others since 2022 because I got busy cooking for my own family. Now, I'm wondering, who in the Spring, TX, and The Woodlands, TX area could use a personal chef?

I'm planning to take on a select few clients in September, October, and November and want to understand the needs from a personal chef perspective.

Here are the services I can offer:

Healthy Food Shopping and Delivery: I'll shop for healthy food, deliver it to your home, clean it up, and place it in the fridge, ready to be eaten.

Weekly Meal Prepping: I'll cook and meal prep for the entire week with my healthy Mediterranean recipes.

Cooking Classes: For any family members who want to be more involved in the kitchen but don't know where to start, I offer cooking classes.

If you have special dietary requirements due to surgery or other reasons, we can discuss tailored meal plans. Having a professional chef with a health coaching background can be life-changing.

Healthy for less

We all see our grocery bills going up, but not only that, restaurant bills are also higher these days!

Making healthy and affordable dinners at home is the way to go and this dinner tonight took no more than 20 min (including prep and cook time) to make.

Boil the polenta for about 5-8 minutes, set aside. While polenta is boiling wash and deseed the peppers, cut an onion (I used red onion), wash and cut a zucchini.

Note any veggies you have in your fridge that you like to sautรฉ would work here.

While all this is going on defrost the shrimp in the sink by running cold water on top.

When ready to sautรฉ veggies and shrimp, take out two non stick pans or skillets and put some butter and olive oil to heat up.

When hot place the shrimp in one pan and the veggies in the other.

Use your favorite spices, I used Cajun spice mixes today and salt and pepper.

Shrimp will be done quickly. Set aside. Veggies take about 10min.

Serve and enjoy!

Iโ€™d love to share with you all more how to include your kids in the kitchen so one day soon you can relax and theyโ€™ll make dinner for you!

Yeah, I am sure Iโ€™m not the only one dreaming about that moment.
