This competition has successfully empowered local communities to create indigenous forests with 100% community ownership and an unprecedented more than 60% contribution from the villages themselves.

Empowerment Through Education and Hygiene!

We are deeply humbled and overjoyed to share a significant milestone in our journey toward rural empowerment. This week, Dorf Ketal CSR reached two new destinations to support our future leaders.

Hindavi Garjana English Medium School, Avashi (Chiplun) We inaugurated brand-new, hygienic toilet blocks for girls and boys, along with a state-of-the-art Computer Lab. This facility will open doors to digital literacy for 300 bright students near Lote MIDC.

Government Higher Secondary School, Silvassa (UT of DNH) We are proud to launch our 3rd Computer Lab in the region! This center will empower 492 students with high-quality computer education, bridging the digital divide.

Beyond Just Infrastructure: At Dorf Ketal, we believe in sustainable impact. We don't just provide the hardware; we also provide qualified teachers and take full responsibility for the long-term maintenance of these labs to ensure uninterrupted learning.

We are extremely grateful to Shri. Paritosh Shukla ji (Assistant Director of Education) and Shri. Balwant ji Patil (District Education Officer) for gracing the occasion and encouraging our efforts.

Cultivating Global Citizens through Education: Dorf Ketal & Educo Pilot Program is LIVE! 🇮🇳

We believe the future of India's leadership rests on a strong foundation of ethics and human values. That's why Dorf Ketal, in partnership with Educo, is proud to announce the pilot launch of our "Cultivating Global Citizens through Education" modules in MCGM Municipal Schools.

As envisioned by our Founder & Vice Chairman, Shri. Subodh Menon ji, this initiative is dedicated to nurturing a generation of Indian youth who are globally competent and ethically grounded.

This inspiring picture captures students in a session focused on Mindful Living, one of the core pillars designed to build emotional resilience and self-awareness.

Our Holistic Curriculum Focuses On:
Mindful Living: For personal well-being, clarity, and better civil sense for happy and cooperative co-existence.

Celebrating Dignity of Sr. Citizens: Dorf Ketal Supports Jeevan Adhar Vrudhashram

At Dorf Ketal, we are honoured to support Jeevan Adhar Vrudhashram in Ambajogai, a true sanctuary for 26 senior citizens who have found themselves abandoned.

This isn't just a shelter; it's a home where the seniors' every need is met with wholehearted dedication. The Ashram's beautiful approach keeps them productive and creative through daily engagement, fostering a vital sense that they are useful and respected.

This Diwali, the celebration at Jeevan Adhar Vrudhashram was a deeply moving experience that beautifully reflected the core of Indian culture. They honoured the tradition of the 'Pahili Anghol' (First Bath). Watching the ladies of the Ashram lovingly give baths to their 'brothers' was an incredibly touching moment for all of us.

It reminds us of what our society is lacking and what we must strive to restore: deep human values. We believe in keeping our lives centered on love, respect, and compassion for every fellow being.

Dorf Ketal and Tarun Bharat Sangh are teaming up to make a real difference!

We're thrilled to share highlights from the Kisan Jagriti Shivir (Farmers' Awareness Camp) that recently took place in village Serawa, Ramgarh, Jaisalmer.

With over 300 farmers in attendance, the event was a powerful reminder of how collective action can change lives. Our very own Santosh Jagdhane and Dr. Nagesh Tekale joined forces with the incredible "Waterman of India," Rajendra Singh, and the dedicated team from Tarun Bharat Sangh (TBS) to ignite a passion for water conservation.

The camp kicked off with a song that evoked the spirit of community and service. Dr Rajendra Singh ji emphasized that water conservation isn't just a good deed—it's a moral and social duty. Dorf Ketal echoed this sentiment, assuring locals that we are committed to helping them protect this precious resource.

It was amazing to hear from the community members themselves! Villagers shared how water scarcity deeply impacts their daily lives, and how initiatives like these are already providing significant relief. We also heard inspiring stories of villagers stepping up, pledging their support and resources to build new ponds, check dams, and other water structures.

This camp was more than just a meeting; it was a movement. It's proof that when we work together, we can tackle the toughest challenges and create a sustainable, water-secure future for all. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event a resounding success!

A Humble Step Towards a Greener, Prosperous Future!

We're incredibly touched by the overwhelming support and enthusiasm for the Dorf Ketal Jungle Cup initiative, and we're excited to share a recent highlight! With the incredible participation of villagers, this program is truly blossoming across Maharashtra.

We're so proud to share a glimpse from Davva Gram Panchayat, District Gondia, where the community, students, and our team achieved something remarkable. Together, we successfully planted 1,000 Keshar mango saplings in just one minute as part of our Dorf Ketal Mango Cup CSR program! You can see the inspiring moments in the video linked below and read more about it in local daily newspapers.

This initiative isn't just about planting trees; it's about nurturing a sustainable future. We're truly humbled by the dedication of the villagers, especially the women, whose efforts are estimated to help their community generate a net profit of Rs. 30 Lakhs from these 1,000 Kesar mango trees within the next 4-5 years.

What's even more inspiring is that some villages have already started intercropping within these mango orchards, already seeing earnings in lakhs. This collective effort is paving the way for a remarkable success story in social development, bringing together environmental care and financial stability for local communities.

A Humble Commitment to Our Planet and People

On this World Environment Day, Dorf Ketal reaffirms its deep commitment to both transforming lives within underprivileged communities and diligently caring for Planet Earth. Our environmental initiatives, part of our sustainable CSR activities, are driven by a genuine concern that goes beyond mere compliance.

We are grateful to our project implementing partner NGOs— , , , and —for their invaluable support and commitment. Together, we have successfully planted 763,000 indigenous and fruit trees across Maharashtra, J&K, UP, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, and Assam. This effort reflects our belief in creating a greener, healthier environment for all.

Our initiatives like the Dorf Ketal Jungle Cup and Mango Cup have aimed to foster a spirit of friendly competition among 150 villages of Maharashtra, encouraging them to create more beautiful and sustainable spaces. These platforms are designed to empower communities to leave a positive legacy for future generations.

Furthermore, we are pleased to report the harvesting of approximately 7 billion liters of water in aspirational districts of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Maharashtra. This achievement underscores our dedication to addressing critical water needs in these regions.

Looking ahead, we are committed to planting an additional 4-5 lakh trees this year. In partnership with , -SMF, and , we also plan to construct more rainwater harvesting structures using innovative methods. Our aim is to help rejuvenate rivers, enhance water sufficiency, and bring more green cover to our planet, ultimately improving the lives of many.

For Dorf Ketal, World Environment Day is a reflection of our everyday practices. We believe that our actions in environmental stewardship should speak for themselves. We strive to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of our shared habitat.
