Haven’t been back to in quite some time, but the dining experience is just as amazing as I remember it being. Flavors are still just as bold and exciting all while the plating is gorgeous. The attention to detail AND the customer experience is always appreciated and greatly valued. If you’re looking for one of the best Japanese restaurants with a modern twist, Uchi is one to put on your list!

If you have not been to you must go now! This is their Huguenot Porkbelly plate. Succulent porkbelly dressed with a sweet and sour chipotle sauce (amazing by the way) topped with sweet red peppers, fried onions, and garnished with cilantro all on a bed of curried South African rice. The employees recommended adding the blue cheese dressing, but I requested it on the side as I was afraid it would overpower all the other amazing flavors. The plate also comes with a side of your choice, mine being Italian herbed mushrooms. I cannot say enough about this one-of-a-kind restaurant! I will definitely be back!
