Love is in the air… and so are the stats. 💌✨

Did you know unintended pregnancy and STI rates tend to rise in February, right after Valentine’s Day? We love love, but we also love being prepared!

That’s why the 2026 OEP Love Tour is pulling up to the places where we naturally are…bars, clubs, races, church, and more with FREE emergency contraception (EC), Opill, condoms, and s*xual health resources. We’re prioritizing welcoming, non-clinical, no-judgment environments all February and March!

Because protecting your peace is powerful.
Because being informed is responsible.
Because you deserve to own every piece of your life.

💌OEP LOVE TOUR 2026! We’re excited to expand our EC & O-Pill distribution reach by having community partners join us for the 2026 Love Tour. By entering non-traditional spaces we are aiming to meet women where they are - at the club, hair salon, church, etc. Providing medically accurate, non-bias information, access, and resources to women in Houston communities is a key pillar to what we do at Own Every Piece!! Congratulations to our 2026 Love Tour partners and we’re excited to work with you!!!

From birth control to honest conversations, there’s a lot to be thankful for this month. 

We’re celebrating the people, resources, and information that make taking care of our s*xual health possible, from providers who listen to access to contraception to the friends who make open conversations feel safe.

We went out and asked, “When it comes to your s*xual health or relationships, what’s something you’re grateful for this year?” and the answers were such a good reminder that gratitude can show up in so many ways.🩷

Almost 100 FREE emergency contraception kits and Opills were given out so cost is never a barrier. Attendees were also given resources to locate a clinic in Houston for routine reproductive care.

Own Every Piece

Own Every Piece is a campaign run by a team at the UTHealth School of Public Health; many of us are women just like you. At some point in our lives, we were totally overwhelmed and confused by the idea of getting birth control— what kind was best? How to afford it? Where to get it? Why did it matter?

We wanted to make the process easier for other women by showing real and honest information that was easy to understand. Much like this campaign, we're a diverse team whose lives encompass many colors that are constantly shifting. Our ages span from 25 to 75, but our mission remains the same:

We want you to own every piece of what makes your life beautiful, including birth control.
