Be careful, ladies and gents.

A Sugar Land plastic surgeon has been indicted on a charge accusing him of performing a surgery while intoxicated, police said.

Dr. Azul Shirazali Jaffer was charged with performing a surgery while intoxicated, a state jail felony, Sugar Land police said in a news release.

A Fort Bend County grand jury indicted Jaffer on Monday, and he was later arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail, police said.

It's been so hard to say goodbye to so many of you the last few weeks at work... 11 years of building trusting relationships. Lots of hugs, laughs and even tears have been shed.
